Bassel Hussein
Bassel Hussein is an Associate Lawyer at ME Law, specializing in corporate and commercial litigation, real estate litigation, and estate litigation. With a strong foundation in legal and business principles, Bassel combines his expertise in law and finance to deliver strategic and practical solutions for his clients.
Bassel earned his JD from Osgoode Hall Law School and an MBA with a specialization in Finance from the Schulich School of Business. During his time at law school, he served as the Vice-President of the Osgoode Tax Law Association, co-founded the Osgoode Emerging Technology Association, and represented the school as an oralist in the Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Law Moot. His academic and extracurricular pursuits reflect his dedication to excellence and innovation in the legal field.
Before joining ME Law, Bassel gained experience at several prominent firms, where he developed a strong background in drafting legal agreements, conducting legal research, and preparing for trials, mediations, and settlement negotiations. His role as a caseworker and client recruitment lead with the Osgoode Venture Capital Clinic further honed his skills in corporate structuring and shareholders’ agreements.
Outside of work, Bassel enjoys staying active as a former competitive boxer and fantasy football enthusiast. Conversational in Arabic, he values connecting with clients from diverse backgrounds and delivering personalized legal strategies tailored to their needs.
